WRCC Endorses Mike Minogue for Governor of Massachusetts
The Worcester Republican City Committee is proud to endorse Mike Minogue for Governor of Massachusetts. We urge Republican voters across Worcester to support him in the primary on Tuesday, September 1.
A Worcester Endorsement, With Worcester Roots
There is something fitting about this endorsement coming from Worcester. It was here at the DCU Center this past April that Mike Minogue won the Massachusetts Republican Party's endorsement for governor, earning roughly 70% of the vote from about 1,800 delegates gathered from across the Commonwealth.
The WRCC confirmed its endorsement at our June 25 regular meeting, adding Worcester's voice to that momentum. We do not take an endorsement like this lightly. We believe Mike Minogue is the right candidate to lead Massachusetts at this moment.
Why We're Endorsing Him
Minogue has focused his campaign on several priorities that strongly resonate with our committee and our members.
Affordability: Cutting taxes and controlling state spending to help ease the cost of living for Massachusetts families.
Accountability: Auditing the state budget and demanding greater transparency from state government and Beacon Hill.
Opportunity: Encouraging job growth, making Massachusetts a place where businesses want to stay and invest, and expanding educational choices for parents and students.
These are the same kitchen-table issues we hear about from Worcester residents again and again. Minogue is addressing them directly and brings years of executive experience to the race.
Primary Day Is September 1
The Republican primary is Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Endorsements can help build momentum, but voters ultimately decide elections.
